ENG: This project was developed for the Vintage Book Week 2024 challenge, which aims to remake children's book covers. This is my version of the cover of the book 'Clementine', released in 1952 and which is part of a series of musical book releases - 'the Mattel Maker Music Book'.
The illustration was done in watercolor and with a little chalk textures. I tried to work with a color palette that brought a happier feeling to the drawing.
PT: Esse projeto foi desenvolvido para o desafio Vintage Book Week 2024, que tem como proposta refazer capas de livros infantis. Esta é a minha versão para a capa do livro 'Clementine', lançando em 1952 e que faz parte de uma série de lançamentos de livros musicais - 'a Mattel Maker Music Book'.
A ilustração foi feita em aquarela e com um pouco de texturas de giz. Busquei trabalhar com uma paleta de cores que trouxesse uma sensação mais alegre para o desenho.
